Black Pepper Beef with Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 125 grams beef, cooked until tender, sliced thinly
  • 250 ml beef broth or water
  • 100 grams green beans, cut to your preference
  • 1/2 to 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
  • 1 piece ginger, smashed or sliced
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 sachet oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Sautรฉ Aromatics: Heat a bit of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, chopped garlic, and ginger. Sautรฉ until the mixture becomes fragrant and the onions turn translucent.

  2. Add Green Onions: Toss in the chopped green onions and stir well to combine with the aromatics.

  3. Cook Green Beans: Add the green beans to the pan. Stir frequently until they change color and become tender-crisp.

  4. Incorporate Beef: Add the sliced beef to the pan, stirring to mix everything evenly.

  5. Flavor the Dish: Pour in the beef broth or water, followed by the oyster sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, sugar, and salt. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated with the sauce.

  6. Simmer: Allow the mixture to cook until the green beans are tender and the flavors meld together. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  7. Finish and Serve: Once everything is cooked through and seasoned to your liking, turn off the heat. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
