Bread, Paneer, and Potato Vada Recipe – A Quick and Delicious Snack

Potato (boiled and mashed) 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds (Jeera) 1/2 tsp
Onion (finely chopped) 1/2 onion
Ginger (finely chopped) 1-inch piece
Fresh coriander (finely chopped) A handful
Green chilies (finely chopped) 2 green chilies
Salt To taste
Oil For frying

Instructions:

To make the Bread, Paneer, and Potato Vada, start by crumbling the bread slices into fine crumbs. In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, semolina, yogurt, cumin seeds, finely chopped onion, ginger, crumbled paneer, boiled and mashed potato, fresh coriander, and salt. Mix everything well until a smooth dough-like consistency forms. Once the mixture is well-combined, knead it gently with your hands for a few minutes to ensure all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Now, heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. While the oil heats, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small round balls. Press the center gently with your finger to form a small hole, giving them the traditional vada shape.

Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the vadas into the oil. Fry them on medium heat, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove the vadas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.

Serve these delicious Bread, Paneer, and Potato Vadas hot with your favorite chutney or a cup of masala chai for a delightful snack. You can also prepare them in an appe/paniyaram pan if you prefer a less-oily option.
