Perkedel Tahu Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 blocks of white tofu
  • 3 red chilies
  • 4 shallots
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 stalks of leeks
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tofu: Begin by mashing the tofu until it reaches a smooth consistency.

  2. Prepare the Vegetables: Finely chop the red chilies, shallots, garlic, and leeks.

  3. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed tofu with the chopped vegetables. Add black pepper, salt, chicken bouillon powder, and the egg to the mixture.

  4. Mix Thoroughly: Stir the ingredients together until well combined. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  5. Form Patties: Shape the tofu mixture into round patties or any shape you prefer.

  6. Fry the Patties: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Carefully place the patties into the hot oil. Fry until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until evenly browned and cooked through.

  7. Cooking Tips: To ensure the patties stay intact, avoid flipping them too frequently. Flip them only twice for best results.
