Raw Banana Chivda Recipe

Raw Banana Chivda is a delicious sweet and sour snack made from grated raw bananas, roasted nuts, and a blend of aromatic spices. Perfect for an evening snack or as a snack box treat, it can also be enjoyed during fasting days by using rock salt instead of regular salt.

Ingredients:
- 2 raw bananas
- 1/3 cup peanuts
- 10 curry leaves
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 7 cashews
- 7 almonds
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, as needed (for frying)

Cook Time: 35 minutes
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Wash and peel the raw bananas, then grate them directly into the pan. Fry the grated bananas in batches, until golden and crispy. Once fried, transfer them to a kitchen paper to absorb excess oil. Set them aside.
- In the same pan, add the peanuts, cashews, and almonds. Cook until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Fry the green chillies and curry leaves in the same pan until crispy, then set them aside.
- Add the raisins to the hot oil and fry them until they puff up. Remove and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the fried ingredients. Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, and caster sugar. Mix well to evenly coat everything.
- Let the mixture cool, then serve.
