Tumis Kikil Tahu Extra Spicy Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of cooked kikil (beef tendons)
  • 2 blocks of tofu
  • 5 green chilies
  • 5 red chilies
  • 15 bird’s eye chilies
  • 5 shallots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Seasoning, to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Water, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Slice the shallots, garlic, and chilies diagonally. Cut the tomato into wedges.
  2. Sautรฉ Aromatics: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and garlic, sautรฉing until fragrant.
  3. Add Chilies and Tomato: Incorporate the sliced chilies and tomato into the skillet. Season with salt and continue to cook until the chilies are softened.
  4. Combine Kikil and Seasonings: Add the cooked kikil to the skillet along with soy sauce. Pour in a little water and simmer until everything is well combined and the kikil is heated through. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and seasoning, if needed.
  5. Serve: Serve the Tumis Kikil Tahu Extra Spicy hot, ideally with a steaming bowl of rice.
