Sesamed String / Green Beans Recipe
🕒 Total Time: 25 minutes
🥄 Servings: 6
Ingredients:
- 100g frozen green beans
- 800ml soya sauce
- 6 tbsp black pepper
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
Step | Description |
---|---|
1 | Saute Sesame Seeds: In a large frying pan, sauté the sesame seeds over medium heat, without oil, until they turn dark golden in color. This should take a few minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on them, as they can quickly burn. Once done, transfer them to a bowl. |
2 | Prepare Green Beans: While the sesame seeds are toasting, boil the frozen green beans in water for a short time. You want to cook them just enough to keep them crisp. Once they’re cooked, drain them and set aside. |
3 | Cook with Soy Sauce: In the same frying pan, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the boiled green beans to the pan along with the soya sauce. Stir-fry for about 10 minutes, making sure to constantly stir to prevent sticking and to evenly coat the beans with the sauce. |
4 | Season and Serve: Once the green beans are heated through and have softened slightly, season them with black pepper according to taste. Stir well to incorporate the seasoning. |
5 | Final Touch: Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the green beans, giving them a delightful nutty flavor and a crunchy texture. Mix everything together and serve immediately while hot. |
