Simple Tahu Perkedel Recipe

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Tofu 2 pieces
Bird’s Eye Chili 2 pieces (optional)
Garlic 1 clove, finely chopped
Shallot 1 piece, finely chopped
Green Onion To taste, sliced
Egg 1 piece
Carrot 1 piece, grated
Pepper To taste
Salt To taste
Flavoring (optional) To taste
All-Purpose Flour Optional, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the tofu, bird’s eye chili (if using), garlic, shallot, green onion, egg, grated carrot, pepper, salt, and flavoring. Mix until well combined. If the mixture is too soft, gradually add all-purpose flour until you achieve a desired consistency.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Shape the tofu mixture into patties according to your preference.
  4. Fry the patties in the hot oil until they turn golden brown, flipping them occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
  5. Once cooked, remove the patties from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve on a plate with chili sauce on the side for an extra kick and enjoy the deliciousness!
