  1. Prepare the Batter: Begin by cracking the egg into a mixing bowl and whisking it until well-beaten. Gradually add the milk, pouring it in slowly while continuously stirring to combine. This process ensures a smooth, lump-free batter. Once the milk is fully incorporated, add the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and homogenous. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set it aside to rest for about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Heat the Pan: Place a crepe pan or a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for a minute or so. Once hot, add a small amount of butter to lightly grease the surface. You can use a paper towel to spread the butter evenly across the pan’s surface.

  3. Cook the Crepes: Pour a small amount of the batter into the center of the pan, tilting and swirling the pan to spread the batter evenly across the bottom in a thin layer.
