Spicy Bloody Mary Gazpacho with Vodka and Fresh Vegetables

Bloody Mary Gazpacho

Ingredients:

Cherry tomatoes 500g
Red bell peppers 120g
Vodka 120g
Lemon juice 2 lemons
Extra virgin olive oil 70g
Tabasco® 1 teaspoon
Salt To taste
Black pepper To taste
Yellow cherry tomatoes 2
Celery stalks 4

Instructions:

  1. Start by washing and drying the cherry tomatoes and red bell peppers. Slice the tomatoes in half and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and Tabasco to the bowl. Mix everything well to ensure that all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture macerate in the fridge for about 1 hour.
  4. After the maceration time has passed, blend the mixture with an immersion blender until you achieve a slightly chunky puree. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean bowl.
  5. Transfer the smooth tomato and pepper cream into glasses filled with ice, filling them about two-thirds full.
  6. Pour 30g of vodka into each glass, and stir well to combine.
  7. Now for the decoration! Cut the red and yellow cherry tomatoes in half. Skewer one half of each color on a toothpick to create a colorful “bicolored” tomato garnish.
  8. To finish, add a stalk of celery as the final touch, sticking it into the glass to enhance both the look and flavor of your Bloody Mary Gazpacho.
