Jaggery Coffee Without Milk

Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Coffee Decoction
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Ginger Powder (or 1 piece of dry ginger)
  • 5 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons Powdered Jaggery

Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Start by pouring the water into a saucepan and bringing it to a boil.
  2. Roughly pound the dry ginger and black peppercorns using a mortar and pestle, and then add them to the boiling water.
  3. Stir in the jaggery and let it simmer for 5 minutes until it fully dissolves.
  4. Add the coffee decoction to the pot and let it boil for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Once done, switch off the heat and serve your Jaggery Coffee Without Milk. It pairs wonderfully with evening snacks like Cheese Crackers or Baked Banana Chips.
