Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Tomatoes 400g
Ginger 1/2 piece
Paneer 250-300g
Bay Leaf 1
Cardamoms 2
Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Garam Masala 5g
Salt 1/4 tsp
Cream 4 tbsp
Coriander Leaves For garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped tomatoes, ginger, bay leaf, cardamom, fenugreek seeds, and red chili powder.

  2. Cook covered until the tomatoes turn soft and tender.

  3. Once cooked, allow the mixture to cool slightly, then transfer it to a blender and blend until smooth. Pass the puree through a sieve to achieve a silky texture.

  4. Return the tomato puree to the pan. Season with salt, sugar, and garam masala. Cook over low flame for 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  5. Add the paneer cubes to the simmering gravy. Cook until the paneer becomes soft and absorbs the flavors of the sauce.

  6. Pour in the cream, reserving some for garnish. Stir well to incorporate the cream into the sauce. Remove from heat.

  7. Just before serving, add the remaining paneer pieces to the dish. Garnish with a swirl of beaten cream and fresh coriander leaves.
