π The first time I made this pie did not use the right amount of almonds, it was still great. This recipe was featured in our newspaper, in the food section.
Ingredients

2/3 cup | Almonds |
3 | Eggs |
1/2 tsp | Vanilla extract |
1/4 tsp | Salt |
3 tbsp | Butter |
4 tbsp | Sugar |
Instructions

Preheat the Oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Prepare Pie Crust: Prick the bottom of the pie crust with a fork. π΄
- Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.

Prepare Almond Mixture:
- In a blender or food processor, grind almonds and 2 tablespoons of sugar until fine. π°
- Add eggs, almond extract, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Process until you have a thick, wet paste.
- Blend in 2 tablespoons of butter until well combined.

Assemble the Pie:
- Spread the almond mixture evenly into the baked pie crust. π₯§
- Cut the fresh peaches in half and remove the pits.
- Place the peach halves cut-side down on top of the almond mixture in the pie crust.
- Spread the remaining tablespoon of butter on top of the peach halves.
- Lightly sprinkle the peaches with sugar.

Bake the Pie:
- Place the pie in the preheated oven.
- Bake for about 50-55 minutes, or until the peaches are glazed and the almond paste is puffed and golden brown. π
