  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 cup colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Cube potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Place into medium-sized saucepan and cover with water. Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
2 When done, drain and return to pan or to a medium-sized bowl.
3 With a mixer on medium speed, mix until all potatoes are broken up.
4 Add dip, mixing until smooth.
5 Add milk, mixing well.
6 Add margarine, salt (may not need it with the salt in the dip), and pepper. Mix until margarine melts.
7 Add cheese and mix well.
8 You might have to add more milk to get it to the right thickness or thinness you want.
