Ingredients

Brownies
1 tbsp instant espresso powder
2 tbsp hot water
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar

Frosting
1 tbsp instant espresso powder
2-3 tbsp heavy cream
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
Chocolate Drizzle
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup shortening

Instructions

Brownies

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8″ square baking pan.

  2. Prepare Espresso Mixture: In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of instant espresso powder with 2 tablespoons of hot water. Stir well to dissolve the granules and set aside.

  3. Melt Chocolate and Butter: In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of butter together with 1 cup of chocolate chips. Stir occasionally until smooth. Remove the pan from heat.
