Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • Butter or margarine
  • Sugar (amount may vary according to your taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Bread: Cut the bread slices in half diagonally to create triangles. If desired, trim off the crusts for a neater presentation.

  2. Spread Butter: Take each bread triangle and spread a layer of butter or margarine evenly on one side.

  3. Add Sugar: Sprinkle a generous amount of sugar onto the buttered side of each bread triangle. Adjust the amount according to your preference for sweetness.

  4. Sandwich and Serve: Place another bread triangle, buttered side down, on top of the sugared side to form a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining bread slices. Your Sugary Snack sandwiches are now ready to be enjoyed!

Recipe Notes:

  • For a healthier option, you can use low-fat margarine or a spread with no trans fats.
  • Experiment with different types of bread for variation. Whole wheat or multigrain bread can add extra fiber and nutrients.
  • Feel free to get creative with toppings! You can add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of honey for additional flavor.
  • Serve these delightful treats as a quick snack or as a sweet ending to a light lunch.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness, although they’re so delicious, there might not be any left!
