Instructions:

In a large soup pot, brown the lean ground beef, onion, green pepper, and celery for about 8 minutes over medium-high heat, until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the chili beans, tomato paste, salsa, diced tomatoes, beef bouillon cubes, and water. Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

Add the chili powder, dried basil, cumin, and garlic powder to the pot. Stir to incorporate the seasonings into the chili mixture.

Bring the chili to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer uncovered for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
