Description:

A wonderful flavor. A nice change from Vegetable Beef Soup. Enough for two meals. Serve with homemade bread and salad and you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
3/4 Onion
3/4 Green beans
2/3 Pearl barley
2/3 Whole kernel corn
1 1/2 Frozen whole kernel corn
1 Water
1 Salt
1/4 Fresh thyme
1 1/2 Dried thyme leaves
1/2 Pepper
2 Beef
2 Green pepper
1 Beef broth
1 Tomatoes with garlic
1 Tomato paste

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Place beef cubes at the bottom of the crockpot.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix all other ingredients thoroughly.

  3. Pour the mixture over the meat in the crockpot.

  4. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours.
