Description:

Some people in this day & age do not even know what hominy is. This is a good casserole to start to learn of this good taste. This dish goes well with just about any meat. One of my favorites is with baked chicken. This dish can be doubled or tripled real easy.

Ingredients:

Quantity Ingredient
1 can Hominy
1/2 Onion
1 cup Chicken broth
1/4 cup Sour cream
1/4 cup Butter
1 tbsp Oleo
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
Corn flakes (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare Casserole:

    • Grease a casserole dish.
    • In the greased casserole dish, combine all ingredients except for the corn flakes.
    • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Top with Corn Flakes:

    • Crush the corn flakes and sprinkle them evenly over the top of the casserole mixture.
  4. Bake:

    • Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven.
    • Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
  5. Serve:

    • Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven.
    • Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
    • Serve hot as a delicious side dish alongside your favorite meat, such as baked chicken.
