Scotch Shortbread Recipe
Description: The ALWAYS requested cookie at my house for the holidays. I cannot remember where I got the original recipe from, but I have been making them for over 20 years.

Instructions:

Prepare Pan: Turn the mixture into an ungreased 13×9 pan.

Press Dough: Press the dough gently with fingers into an even and firm layer.

Prick Dough: Prick the dough evenly with a fork. You may wish to sprinkle the top with a little additional sugar for added sweetness.

Bake: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius). Bake the shortbread for 35-40 minutes until LIGHTLY browned.
