Ingredients:
- 1 garlic-flavored olive oil
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup Roquefort cheese
- 4 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 6 fresh mushrooms
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 tablespoons madeira wine
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 prepared pizza shell
Instructions:
-
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or as per the instructions on the pizza shell package). -
Prepare Sirloin Steak:
Cut the sirloin steak into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick and 2 inches long. -
Marinate Steak:
In a bowl, combine the black pepper and 1 tablespoon of garlic-flavored olive oil. Pour this mixture over the sirloin strips and set it aside to marinate. -
Sear Meat and Vegetables:
Heat the remaining olive oil in a heavy skillet. Sear the marinated meat and vegetables in the garlic-flavored oil until they are golden brown and tender. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside. -
Prepare Sauce:
Deglaze the skillet with beef broth and madeira wine. Allow the liquid to reduce to approximately 4 tablespoons or until it thickens. Remove the skillet from heat. -
Combine Meat and Vegetables:
Return the cooked meat and vegetables to the skillet with the reduced liquid. Mix them well and set aside to soak up the flavors. -
Prepare Cheese Spread:
In a small bowl, beat together 2 ounces of Roquefort cheese and unsalted butter until smooth. -
Assemble Pizza:
Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the prepared pizza shell. Spoon the marinated meat and vegetable mixture over the cheese layer. Top it off with the remaining 2 ounces of Roquefort cheese and fresh parsley. -
Bake Pizza:
Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or according to the instructions on the pizza shell package, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown. -
Serve and Enjoy:
Once baked to perfection, remove the pizza from the oven. Slice it into wedges and serve hot.
Note: You can find a variety of prepared pizza shells in the grocery store. Choose your favorite and follow the baking directions on the package. Additionally, feel free to substitute round tip, shoulder steak, or shredded beef for the sirloin steak according to your preference. π΄
