Golden Crispy Indonesian Fried Chicken

Tender Boneless Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 slices galangal
  • 1 slice ginger
  • Bay leaves, 2 stalks lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken in a slow cooker.
  2. Blend garlic, ginger, galangal until smooth.
  3. Add the blended mixture to the slow cooker.
  4. Pour enough bioglass water to cover the chicken.
  5. Set to cook and wait for about 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker.
  7. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Fry until golden brown.
  9. Enjoy tender and delicious chicken, even when cooled!

Sambal Recipe:

  • Blend chili, shallots, shrimp paste.
  • Fry in remaining oil from frying the chicken. Adjust oil amount as needed.
