Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Chicken Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams chicken breast fillet, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Soy sauce, to taste

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons spicy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • Several pineapple chunks
  • Sugar and salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Marinate the chicken slices with cornstarch and soy sauce. Let it sit for 1 hour. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown.

  2. Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together spicy sauce, sesame oil, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Set aside.

  3. Cooking Process: Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add the fried chicken and the prepared sauce mixture. Stir well.

  4. Adjust Flavors: Taste and adjust the seasoning with sugar and salt as needed.

  5. Add Vegetables: Just before removing from heat, add diced onion and bell pepper. Finally, add pineapple chunks.
