Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or applesauce for a healthier option)
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk biscuit mix with white sugar.

  2. Add 1/2 cup of milk, egg, and vegetable oil (or applesauce). Mix thoroughly until well combined.

  3. Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch round microwave-safe dish.

  4. In another bowl, mix together the remaining 1/3 cup of buttermilk biscuit mix, brown sugar, softened butter, and ground cinnamon until crumbly.
