Ikan Kerapu Bumbu Pedas
Ingredients:
- 1 grouper fish, cut into desired pieces
- 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Spice Paste:
- 2 small red tomatoes
- 25 red bird’s eye chilies
- 10 red chilies
- 6 shallots
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
Complementary Ingredients:
- 3 red chilies, sliced diagonally
- 10 green bird’s eye chilies
- 1 stalk of green onion, sliced lengthwise
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced diagonally
- 1/2 onion, sliced into rings
- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
Preparation Steps:

- Clean the grouper fish thoroughly, rinse with water, and drain.
- Squeeze the juice of the lime over the fish and sprinkle with salt to taste. Let it sit for a while to marinate.

- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fish until it is slightly crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside to drain excess oil.
