- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- Water (to clean cans)

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven or stockpot over medium heat.
