Ayam Geprek Manyuss
Ingredients:

Crispy Chicken:
- Fried crispy chicken fillet

Sambel (Spicy Sauce):
- 5 bird’s eye chili peppers (cabe setan)
- 5 red chili peppers (cabe rawit)
- 1 clove of garlic (bawang putih)
- 1 shallot (bawang merah)
- Salt (to taste)
- Sugar (to taste)
Instructions:

Prepare the Sambel:
- Begin by crushing the bird’s eye chili peppers, red chili peppers, garlic, and shallot using a mortar and pestle until they form a coarse paste.
- Heat a small amount of oil in a pan until it’s sizzling hot.
- Carefully pour the hot oil over the sambel paste, mixing well to combine all the flavors. Season with salt and sugar to taste.

Combine the Chicken and Sambel:
- Place the fried crispy chicken fillet on a plate.
- Using a pestle or a suitable kitchen tool, gently press (or “penyet”) the chicken onto the sambel to ensure it absorbs the spicy sauce, making sure it’s well coated and slightly crushed.

- Serve the Ayam Geprek Manyuss immediately with a side of steaming hot rice.
