- 6 slices of ham
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup beer or ale
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
