Ingredients:
- 1 kg mackerel fish, cleaned
- 1 piece lime
- Banana leaves, cleaned and cut into pieces
- Additional items to be sliced: 4 tomatoes or bilimbi, as desired; 4 green chilies; 3 curly chilies
Spice Paste:
- 6 cloves garlic
- 5 shallots
- 7 candlenuts
- 1 piece ginger
- 1 piece turmeric
- Red chili (large), to taste

Steps:

Rinse the cleaned mackerel fish with lime juice and let it sit briefly. Rinse again to remove the sourness from the lime.
