Spicy Sliced Pangasius Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 medium-sized pangasius fish
- 1 lime
- A handful of basil leaves (kemangi)
- Cooking oil
Spice Blend:
- 4 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 green chilies
- 5 whole bird’s eye chilies (adjust according to spice preference)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cm turmeric
- Sugar, salt, oyster sauce, and seasoning powder (optional)
- 1 small packet of coconut milk
- Water, as needed

- Fresh cucumber slices for serving

Clean the pangasius fish thoroughly, cut into pieces, and marinate with lime juice and salt. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then fry until partially cooked. Set aside.

Cut all the spices into small pieces. Sauté together with the bay leaf until fragrant.

Add water to the pan, bring to a boil, and season with sugar, salt, and oyster sauce. Add the pangasius fish pieces and stir gently.
