Cherry Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:

    • In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
    • Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan, making it about 1/4 inch thick.
    • Chill the crust in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.

  3. Assemble the Cheesecake:

    • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust in the pan.

    • Chill the assembled cheesecake in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, or until firm.
  4. Garnish and Serve:

    • Once chilled, remove the cheesecake from the refrigerator.
    • Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top of the cheesecake, spreading it out evenly as a delicious topping.
