Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice (soaked overnight)
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 handful peeled shrimp

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Rinse the chicken breasts and boil them with 1/4 of the garlic cloves. Once cooked, remove from the pot, drain, and shred the chicken into small pieces.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:

    • In the same pot, add the peeled shrimp and the remaining 1/4 of the garlic cloves. Cook until the shrimp turn a reddish color. Remove the shrimp from the pot, dice into small pieces, and set aside.
  3. Toast the Rice:

    • Lightly toast the soaked rice in a pan until it turns a golden yellow. Allow it to cool before rinsing thoroughly.
  4. Cook the Porridge:

    • Add the rinsed rice to the pot with chicken and shrimp stock. Stir in the spice blend and cook until the rice becomes a thick porridge. If needed, add more water to achieve the desired consistency.
