Crispy Balado Chicken Fillets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack chicken fillets or chicken breast
  • 1 pack chicken seasoning mix
  • 1 pack Sajiku flour
  • All-purpose flour mixed with ice water, enough to thicken
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chicken broth powder, to taste
  • Balado spice mix (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chicken:

    • Begin by washing the chicken fillets thoroughly. Coat them evenly with the chicken seasoning mix and let them marinate for a few hours; the longer they sit, the better the flavor infusion.
  2. Prepare the Coating Mixtures:

    • In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour with ice water until you achieve a thick batter consistency. Season with salt, pepper, and chicken broth powder to taste. Set this mixture aside.
    • Pour Sajiku flour onto a separate plate and set it aside.
  3. Coat the Chicken:

    • Take the marinated chicken fillets and dip them first into the wet flour mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Next, coat them with the Sajiku flour, pressing lightly to adhere well. For a crinkly texture, pinch and twist the coated chicken fillets.
  4. Fry the Chicken:

    • Heat oil in a pan until it reaches a high temperature. Fry the coated chicken fillets in the hot oil, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking and to prevent burning. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Finish and Serve:

    • Once fried, drain the chicken on paper towels to remove excess oil. If desired, sprinkle with Balado spice mix for an extra layer of flavor. Serve hot, and enjoy the crispy, flavorful chicken with a delightful Balado twist!

Tips:

  • Ensure the oil is sufficiently hot before adding the chicken to achieve a crispy texture.
  • Adjust the level of Balado spice mix according to your taste preference for a customized kick.

This recipe delivers a delightful crunch and savory taste, perfect for a satisfying meal or snack. Enjoy!
