Spicy Shredded Tuna (Tongkol Suir Pedas)

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized tuna (Ikan Tongkol)
  • 2 red chilies (cabal merah)
  • 1 garlic clove (bawang putih)
  • 1 large red onion (bawang merah)
  • 1 medium tomato (tomat)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil (kemangi)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Cooking oil (for frying)
  • Soy sauce (kecap)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tuna: Start by frying the medium-sized tuna until it’s thoroughly cooked and lightly golden. Once done, remove it from the oil and let it cool slightly. After cooling, shred the tuna into bite-sized pieces.
