- 3 bird’s eye chilies (washed)
- Salt, sugar, and Royco seasoning (to taste)
Spice Paste:
- 6 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 candlenuts
- 3 cm turmeric (peeled and chopped)
- 2 cm ginger (peeled and chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
