Stir-Fried Noodles with Beef and Broccoli
Ingredients:
- 100 grams dried egg noodles (Mie Telur Kering Cap Burung Dara)
- 250 grams ground beef
- 1/4 head of broccoli
- 2 candlenuts (Kemiri), ground into a paste
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder (Bubuk Ketumbar)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Sweet soy sauce (Kecap Manis), to taste
- Soy sauce (Kecap Asin), 1 teaspoon
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (Saus Tiram)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 clove shallot (Bawang Merah), minced
Instructions:

Prepare the Noodles:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the dried egg noodles and cook until tender, following package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Broccoli:
- Wash the broccoli and soak it in salted water for a few minutes to clean it. Briefly blanch the broccoli in boiling water until slightly tender, then drain and set aside.

Cook the Aromatics:
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil and sauté the minced shallot and garlic until fragrant and golden brown.

Cook the Beef:
- Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add Sauces and Seasonings:
- Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well to combine the flavors.

Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce and mixed with the beef.

Finish the Dish:
- Stir in the ground candlenuts and coriander powder. Mix thoroughly to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
