Beef & Sausage Teriyaki with Salad

Ingredients:

For the Teriyaki Beef and Sausage:

  • 1/4 kg beef (sliced into preferred size)
  • 3 chicken or beef sausages (additional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste

Marinade Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Salad:

  • 1 carrot (sliced or julienned)
  • 1/2 corn (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Boncabe (chili seasoning, optional for additional heat)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade:

    • In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, ground black pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
  2. Marinate the Meat:

    • Slice the beef and sausages according to your preference.
    • Add the beef and sausages to the marinade. Stir to ensure that all pieces are well coated.
    • Allow the meat to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Prepare the Salad:

    • Slice the carrot and cut the corn into bite-sized pieces.
    • Boil the carrot and corn briefly until tender, then drain and set aside.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked carrot and corn with mayonnaise. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise according to your taste.
    • Optionally, sprinkle with Boncabe for an extra kick.
  4. Cook the Beef and Sausages:

    • Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the sliced garlic and onion to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
    • Add the marinated beef and sausages to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.
    • Stir in the butter and teriyaki sauce. Continue to cook for a few more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
    • Season with salt to taste, adjusting as needed.
  5. Serve:

    • Serve the teriyaki beef and sausages hot, alongside the prepared salad.

Enjoy this savory and satisfying meal that combines the rich flavors of teriyaki with a refreshing, creamy salad!
