Simple Stir-Fried Beef Tendon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of pre-cooked beef tendon (available from markets)
  • 10 large green chilies
  • 10 small red chilies
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Salt, seasoning, and sugar to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • Sweet corn, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon margarine (e.g., Blue Band)
  • 1 packet of seasoning mix (e.g., Ladaku)
  • Water, as needed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef Tendon: Rinse the beef tendon thoroughly and boil for 5 minutes to remove any impurities. Discard the water, then cut the tendon into bite-sized pieces according to your preference.

  2. Slice the Vegetables: Thinly slice the garlic and green chilies, and finely chop the red chilies. Remove the kernels from the sweet corn by slicing them off the cob.

  3. Sauté the Aromatics: Heat the margarine in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and chilies, sautéing until fragrant and the garlic turns golden.

  4. Cook the Beef Tendon: Add the prepared beef tendon to the pan. Stir-fry briefly, then add the sweet corn kernels and a small amount of water. The water should be enough to create a slight sauce, but not too much.

  5. Season the Dish: Stir in the sweet soy sauce, salt, sugar, and seasoning mix. Adjust the seasoning to taste, balancing the flavors.

  6. Simmer: Allow the mixture to cook until the sauce has reduced and the dish is slightly dry.

  7. Serve: Once the dish is ready and has reached your desired consistency, remove from heat. Serve hot and enjoy!

This simple stir-fried beef tendon dish is perfect for a quick and flavorful meal. Its rich taste and delightful combination of ingredients will surely make it a favorite at your dining table.
