- 300 grams beef tongue

- 1 large red chili, sliced

- 250 ml beef broth (from cooking the beef tongue)

- Sugar, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Beef bouillon powder (non-MSG), to taste

- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
