Beef Bulgogi

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 carrots, julienned
  • Marinade:
    • Teriyaki sauce
    • Oyster sauce
    • Sweet soy sauce
    • Soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Beef: Begin by marinating the thinly sliced beef in a mixture of teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and soy sauce. For the best flavor, let the beef marinate for at least a few hours or overnight if possible.

  2. Prepare the Vegetables: In a large skillet or wok, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then, add the sliced onion and julienned carrots. Cook the vegetables until they begin to soften and become slightly caramelized.

  3. Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir-fry the mixture until the beef is cooked through and changes color. There is no need to add additional water, as the beef will release its own juices.

  4. Season to Taste: Season the dish with a bit of sugar, salt, and pepper according to your taste preferences. Continue to cook until the liquid reduces and the flavors meld together.

  5. Final Touches: Once the liquid has reduced to your desired consistency, remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or finely sliced green onions for added flavor and presentation.

  6. Serve: Serve your Beef Bulgogi hot, either on its own or with a side of steamed rice. Enjoy this flavorful Korean dish that’s perfect for a comforting meal!

Feel free to adjust the seasoning and marinade ingredients to suit your taste preferences.
