- 7 cloves of garlic
- 20 bird’s eye chilies
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cm galangal
- 1 stalk of lemongrass
- 4 green tomatoes
- 5 starfruits (adjust to desired sourness)
- 1 liter mineral water
- 250 ml coconut milk from 1/2 coconut
- Salt, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- Seasoning, to taste
- Banana leaves, as needed

Prepare the Pot: Line a pot with banana leaves, ensuring the entire bottom and sides are covered.

Cook the Chicken: Bring the chicken to a boil and cook until it is half-tender.

Add Aromatics and Spices: Add the sliced shallots, garlic, bird’s eye chilies, bay leaves, galangal, lemongrass, green tomatoes, and starfruits into the pot with the chicken.
