- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1 tablespoon butter for sautéing
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
-
Prepare the Beef and Vegetables:
- Thinly slice the beef to ensure it cooks quickly and remains tender.
- Finely chop the garlic and a portion of the onion.
- Cut the red and green chilies into small squares.
- Slice the remaining onion into thin strips.
- Thinly slice the green onion, keeping the white and green parts separate.
-
Sauté the Aromatics:
- Heat a pan and add the butter, allowing it to melt.
- Sauté the finely chopped garlic, chopped onion, and the white part of the green onion until the garlic turns a light brown color.
-
Cook the Beef:
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan.
- Season with sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, and mushroom broth powder.
- Stir well to ensure the beef is evenly coated with the seasoning.
-
Add the Broth and Vegetables:
- Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the red and green chilies, sliced onion, and the green part of the green onion.
- Continue to cook until the mixture boils and thickens. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add cornstarch dissolved in water, though this step is optional.
-
Check and Adjust the Flavor:
- Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Once the desired taste is achieved, turn off the heat.
-
Serve:
- Transfer the beef teriyaki to a serving dish.
