Crispy Tamarind-Infused Fried Chicken
Simple Fried Chicken (Ayam Goreng Simple)
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken (cut into 10-12 pieces)
- Salt (to taste)
- Seasoning (to taste)
- 4 tamarind pieces
- Water
- Cooking oil (for frying)

Prepare the Chicken: 
 Begin by thoroughly cleaning the chicken pieces. Place them in a pot and add enough water to cover the chicken.

Season and Simmer: 
 Add salt, seasoning, and tamarind to the pot. Allow the mixture to simmer, cooking until the water level reduces and the chicken is tender.

Drain the Chicken: 
 Once the chicken is cooked and the liquid has reduced, remove the chicken pieces from the broth and set them aside.

Fry the Chicken: 
 Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces until they turn a golden-brown color and become crispy on the outside.

 Remove the fried chicken from the oil and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy!
