Telur Dadar Daging: Savory Beef and Egg Pancake

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams ground beef
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
  • Salt, sugar, pepper, and seasoning to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and golden brown. Add the ground beef and cook until it changes color and is fully browned. Incorporate the grated carrot and sliced celery into the skillet, seasoning with salt, sugar, pepper, and your choice of seasoning. Cook the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and thoroughly cooked. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Once done, remove from heat.

  2. Combine with Eggs: In a mixing bowl, crack and beat the eggs until well combined. Gently fold the cooked beef mixture into the eggs, ensuring an even distribution.

  3. Cook the Dadar: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour a portion of the egg and beef mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly. Cook until the edges start to set and the bottom is golden brown. Flip carefully to cook the other side until fully cooked through. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make additional pancakes.
