Ayam Goreng Kilat: Quick Indonesian Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 packet of Indofood Ayam Goreng seasoning mix
- 4 stalks lemongrass, bruised
- 10 kaffir lime leaves, torn
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 liter water

Prepare the Chicken: Clean the chicken pieces thoroughly under cold water.

Add Flavorings: Stir in the Indofood Ayam Goreng seasoning mix, bruised lemongrass stalks, torn kaffir lime leaves, and salt. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasoning.

Simmer: Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the chicken is tender and the water has mostly evaporated, concentrating the flavors. This usually takes around 30-40 minutes.

Drain and Cool: Once the chicken is cooked through and the liquid has reduced, remove the chicken from the pot and drain well.
