Tahu Telur Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 2 blocks of tofu
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons Sajiku seasoning mix (or any all-purpose seasoning mix)
- Chopped green onions (to taste)
- For the spice paste:
- 2 bird’s eye chilies
- 3 cloves garlic
- 6 shallots
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions:

Prepare the Tofu:
- Use a fork to mash the tofu until it is finely crumbled and smooth.

Combine the Ingredients:
- Crack the eggs and add them to the mashed tofu. Mix well to combine.

Make the Spice Mixture:
- Blend the bird’s eye chilies, garlic, and shallots into a fine paste. If you don’t have a blender, you can finely chop these ingredients.
- Add this spice paste to the tofu and egg mixture.

Add Seasonings and Flour:
- Mix in the all-purpose flour and Sajiku seasoning mix. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Fold in the chopped green onions.

Cook the Tahu Telur:
- Heat a non-stick skillet (Teflon) over medium heat and add a sufficient amount of cooking oil.
- Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the skillet.
- Cook each spoonful until the edges turn golden brown and the center is fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Serve:
- Remove the cooked tahu telur from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with additional bird’s eye chilies on the side, if desired.
