Egg Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

For the Sandwich:

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices of bread (I used Mr. Bread white bread)

For the Accompaniments:

  • 3 slices cucumber
  • 3 slices tomato
  • Mayonnaise, to taste
  • Chili sauce, to taste
  • 1 bowl of salad (optional, such as Hokben salad)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Egg: Begin by melting the butter in a skillet over medium heat. While the butter is melting, crack the egg into a bowl, and whisk it together with salt and pepper.

  2. Cook the Egg: Pour the beaten egg into the skillet with the melted butter. Cook until the egg is fully set and lightly golden. Remove from heat.

  3. Assemble the Sandwich: Start by laying one slice of bread on a plate. Place the cooked egg on top of the bread, then layer on the cucumber and tomato slices. Spread mayonnaise and chili sauce over the vegetables to your taste. If you like, add a bowl of salad on the side or as an additional layer in the sandwich.

  4. Finish the Sandwich: Top with the second slice of bread. Your egg sandwich is now ready to enjoy!
