Corned Beef Omelette (Telor Dadar Campur Cornet)

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 stalk of green onion (daun bawang), finely sliced
  • 5 shallots (bawang merah), finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves (bawang putih), minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper (motto), to taste
  • 3 tablespoons beef bouillon powder (kaldu bubuk)
  • 3 tablespoons corned beef (cornet)
  • Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture:

    • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
    • Add the finely sliced green onion, chopped shallots, and minced garlic to the bowl.
    • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, and add the beef bouillon powder.
    • Stir everything together until well combined.
  2. Incorporate Corned Beef:

    • Gently fold in the corned beef until evenly distributed throughout the egg mixture.
  3. Cook the Omelette:

    • Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
    • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, spreading it out evenly.
    • Cook the omelette until the edges start to set and the bottom turns golden brown.
    • Carefully flip the omelette to cook the other side, or cover the skillet with a lid to cook through without flipping.
  4. Serve:

    • Once the omelette is fully cooked and golden brown, transfer it to a plate.
