- Kara Coconut Milk: Enough to taste
- Indofood Curry Spice Mix: 2 tablespoons
- Bay Leaves: 2
- Lemongrass: 1 stalk (bruised)
- Galangal: 1/2 thumb-sized piece
- Kaffir Lime Leaves: 2
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 2 teaspoons
For the Spice Paste:
- Candlenuts: 1
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Turmeric: 2 cm piece
- Shallots: 7
- Large Red Chilies: 2 (adjust to taste)
- Bird’s Eye Chilies: 8 (adjust to taste)

- Boil the eggs in water until fully cooked. Once done, peel them and set them aside.

- Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu pieces until they are golden and crispy. Remove and set them aside.
