Crispy Tofu Nuggets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 30 small pieces of white tofu
  • 1.5 ounces all-purpose flour
  • 3 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Seasoning, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Begin by mashing the tofu until it is well-crushed and smooth.

  2. Mince the shallots and garlic finely, then blend them into the tofu mixture. Stir thoroughly to combine.

  3. Incorporate the egg, all-purpose flour, salt, and seasoning into the tofu mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. Pour the mixture into a mold or pan, spreading it evenly.

  5. Steam the tofu mixture for approximately 25 minutes, or until firm and cooked through.

  6. Once steamed, remove from the steamer and allow it to cool. Once cooled, cut the tofu into pieces according to your preference.

  7. Prepare a flour batter for dipping by mixing additional flour with a little water to create a thick coating.

  8. Coat each tofu piece with the flour batter, then roll in breadcrumbs until the surface is evenly covered.

  9. Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated tofu nuggets until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  10. Serve the crispy tofu nuggets warm for the best taste. Enjoy your homemade crispy tofu nuggets!
