Gadon Tahu Kornet

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons corned beef (kornet sapi)
- 2 blocks of firm tofu, crumbled
- 1 stalk of scallions, finely sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- A pinch of ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cooking oil, for sautéing
- Banana leaves, for wrapping

Instructions:

Prepare the Spice Paste: - Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the candlenut, garlic, shallots, and red tomato until aromatic and the shallots are soft.
- Add the finely sliced kaffir lime leaf and cook for another minute.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Blend or grind the mixture until smooth.

Mix the Ingredients: - In a large bowl, combine the crumbled tofu and corned beef.
- Add the finely sliced scallions, the prepared spice paste, salt, sugar, and ground black pepper.
- Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Stir in the beaten egg until the mixture is well combined.

Prepare for Steaming: - Preheat your steamer.
- Cut the banana leaves into squares large enough to wrap around the mixture.
